I know I've been accused associated with a Damon (Ian Somerhalder) bias recently, but I think we could all agree that the particular Elena-Stefan drama is starting to feel as a broken record after all this. How many times is Elena visiting try to get by means of him, only to possess him curse her out, then end the conversation with something for the effect of "I'm not putting a stop to on you, Stefan. " It's unsatisfactory, and honestly, it's making me think way less of Elena.
Speaking involving me thinking less of Elena, how ridiculous was it that she basically lectured Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) about why everyone shouldn't fall in love having a dead person? The very last time I checked, Stefan has been dead for centuries - and even though he most likely are not a ghost, there are undeniable obstacles their relationship has had to overcome. I didn't intend just for this review to turn directly into an Elena hate-fest, but that girl needs to acquire a grip!
Though, to be fair, I think I may should also get a grip. MY PARTNER AND I cheered when Jeremy kissed Anna (Malese Jow), and I teared up being a little baby when he or she eventually had to say goodbye to her. I love Bonnie (Kat Graham), but it's so obvious that Jeremy loved Ould - more - and he probably always will probably be.
That said, Bonnie got some comfort from this personal favorite returning character: Grams! Yes, Jasmine Guy and her outstanding Southern accent paid for Bonnie a visit in order to clue her in about an evil witch who took advantage of the portal Bonnie exposed when she banished Vicki (Kayla Ewell) back into ghostly oblivion last full week. As if Bonnie wanted more drama in the woman's life.
But this week's nearly all surprising ghostly adventure of was between Mason (Taylor Kinney) plus Damon (Ian Somerhalder) - for the reason that actually played nice for your change! The ever-beautiful, ever-noble Uncle Mason discovered he only returned to help Tyler (Michael Trevino) cost-free himself from Klaus' (Joseph Morgan) command, so the boys took a little field trip to the particular old Lockwood basement where by Mason led Damon for some sweet hieroglyphics which have the secret to - loose time waiting for it - killing an authentic!
Sadly, Mason and the other spirits went back to ghost-land before he got an opportunity to explain what the extravagant symbols mean. But prior to he vanished into wonderful thin air, he did utter the best thing he's ever said: "I don't have revenge, Damon. I will need redemption. "
Mason Lockwood, a poet even till the very end.
